Fame:

I am the author of Skyflying Wingsuits in Motion (www.skymonkeypublishing.com), the only published instructional book on wing suiting in the world. I was instrumental in developing the BirdMan instructor program and have several published works in various skydiving media. I have traveled through out the United States and other countries where I have helped implement wing suit safety procedures at some of the world’s largest drop zones, while lending my expertise on the subject of wing suit flying.

My constant attention to continued education and the advancement of wing suit flight has made me a premiere speaker at PIA and numerous conventions, as well as a highly sought out instructor globally. I am also a Forum moderator on the world’s largest online skydiving web site, dropzone.com.

First flight: 2002

Most memorable flight: Organizing and seeing 69 wingsuits exit the AN-72 jet and flying in formation over Cochstedt, Germany in 2006.

Longest flight: 4+ minutes from 22,000 feet

Why do you jump?: Because there is nothing else in the world like the sensations you get flying your body around a big puffy cloud for over 2 minutes.

What do you still want to do in the air?: I want to organize and see 100 wingsuits flying in formation.

Your advise to somebody who wants to get started?: Make your first flight a good one. Seek a qualified Birdman Instructor to ensure you receive proper training and learn how to fly correctly and safely. There are no substitutions or shortcuts when it comes to learning how to fly a wingsuit. Those who receive instruction progress faster than those who do not.

Greatest aviation accomplishment of all time?: Flying my wingsuit relative to a 21 sq. ft canopy.

I want to thank: The Raeford Parachute Center, SkyKat gear store, and all the great people on the DZ(you know who you are), and all the other wonderful people out there who have in some way ,shape or form, helped me get to where I am at. Thank you.
