Hi BIRDS, Cochstedt-news: everybody who likes to have a reservation in one of the Hotels around, please check immediately and individually www.md.skydive.de (english site), you will find the Hotel-addresses and contacts you need! I called these guys today and learned that there is "still plenty of room" (Mrs Biermann, 18.June). Again: the organization didn't make any reservations so far!!
Concerning the PreCourse: the little powerful sister of the AN72, the AN28 (nicknamed ANABOLIKA and also a Tailgate!) will be in Cochstedt already 26/27.July, and we will use this plane for to practice all kind of BIRD-exits! Float, dive, Gainer... all exits video-documented! The whole PreCourse is for free, you only have to cover your slots!! 20 seats, 9min up to incredible altitude. My helpers and I are waiting for you! (And, yes: this plane can also fly formation with the "BIG ONE", later this week, and 70+20 is about 90, am I right? )
What else: we will bring some TENGU and S8 for to look at! Wait'n'see! And eventually we will be able to demo some (PD-)factory-new STORM 7-cell mains!!

Das Neuste aus Cochstedt: aufgrund eines Missverstaendnisses wollen wir nochmals darauf hinweisen, dass jede/r selbst verantwortlich ist fuer Zimmer-Reservierungen; bitte auf der www.mdskydive.de die Hotel-Infos abrufen und selber buchen! Es sind keine Reservierungen vorgenommen worden, durch die Cochstedt-Crew! Lt. Hotel BigMoon z.B. gibt es da aber noch jede Menge Platz. Also? Los!
Was den Vorbereitungskurs aus der AN28 (auch eine Heckrampe!) angeht: die kleine kraeftige Schwester (daher ihr Spitzname ANABOLIKA) vom "Dickschiff"AN72 steht schon am 26/27.Juli am Platz.Wir werden alle Exitformen ueben, die fuer BIRDMEN wichtig sind, Dive, float, Gainer etc! Alle Exits mit Video! Und der ganze Kurs ist gratis, nur Eure Tickets fallen an!! 20 Plaetze, 9min auf Hoehe: wir warten auf Euch!! (Und? Ja, es stimmt, die AN28 und die AN72 koennen Formation fliegen. Und 70+20 gibt so ungefaehr 90, nicht? )
Was noch: es wird ganz sicher die neuen BIRD-Suits zum Anschauen geben, die TENGU und S8. Und wir sind auch bemueht, ein paar brandneue STORM von PD zu zeigen, (Nachfolger des SPECTRE).

Time to share my joy with you, BIRDS: 3 nights ago, 18 jumpers (2 BIRDS, Lutz Birnbach and me) got the may-be-last-chance to jump into BERLIN-TEMPELHOF, the old and legendary Int'l Airport of Berlin, which will be shut down soon; looks like Lutz and I have been the first and only BIRDS there, so far! The view over the bright big City of Berlin at night was overwelming! Incredible! What to say!! I claim it my best BIRD-flight so far!
