Hi all – only 38 days left - and counting
* Cochstedt is now Magdeburg – just 20 miles away, almost right next to the Highway 2, connecting Berlin-Hannover. In 4.-9 of August we will have 2 AN28’s there, BIRDS will leave the plane double-file, dive-exit! Yes, we can!
You will be impressed how smooth this exit will be, and how fast we will be on our way to the formations! 1 AN28 is in Magdeburg already. I'm planning smoke-dives, long tracks, 3-D-dives, beach-jumps and much more! Magdeburg-DZ is providing you with all you need - and more!

* Accidents again: another wingsuit flyer hit the door! After the reported accidents (last roundmail), here comes another one... a wingsuiter with average experience didn't check the Cessna-door carefully enough, tried a dive-exit and got badly hurt by a sharp edge there.
So, when you go for a DZ-check – please include the plane if you’ve never jumped it before, and go for a door-check, PLEASE! Especially when you are planning to wingsuit it!
* Talking safety: have a look at www.skydivingmedia.com and check out the brand-new DVDs “WINGSUIT 101” and “WINGSUIT 202”! Not cheap - but good. Best (safety-) info for newcomers (101), and for those who want to start backflying (202). Also lots of bonus material (Lake Elsinore Big Way last year).

* Der Regional-Airport liegt am Rande der Stadt, und wo Magdeburg liegt, wisst Ihr (A2 Berlin-Hannover). Mehr Info ueber Infrastruktur: www.mdskydive.de!
Die (erste) AN28 steht schon dort! Wir wollen mit Dive-Exits in Doppelreihe raus - ja, das geht! Und sind auf diese Weise schneller und sauberer an der Basis denn je! Fuer Frueh-Anmelder gibt es Vorteile, schaut auf die website, bitte! Und - lasst uns kurz (und unverbindlich) wissen, ob und wann und mit wievielen Ihr zu kommen gedenkt! Gerne helfen wir Euch auch in bewaehrter Manier am Platz weiter (Camping, Motels/Hotels etc).
Wir planen in Magdeburg Rauch-Spruenge, Trackdives, 3-D-Fluege, Beach-jumps und viel mehr!
* Suits gesucht und zu verkaufen - siehe oben, im engl.sprachigen Teil.
* Nochmals "Unfall": nach den letzten Berichten (siehe letzte roundmail...) hier leider noch wieder ein Vorfall, von dem wir zufaellig erfuhren: ein Fluegel-Flieger uebersah hinten rechts an einer Cessna-Tuere eine sehr scharfe Kante, machte einen Dive-Exit und verletzte sich nicht unerheblich.
Bitte: wenn Ihr das Flugzeug noch nicht kennt, fragt mal und geht mal hin, und guckt es euch gut an, aus der "Vogel-Perspektive"! Sozusagen...
* Und nochmals "Sicherheit": Klaus Heller (www.skydivingmedia.com) hat neu in seinem Program die “WINGSUIT 101” und “202”, gut fuer die, die nach dem Erstflug weitermachen wollen (101) und fuer solche, die mehr wissen wollen, wie Rueckenfliegen geht (202). Nicht billig - aber gut! Gehoert eigentlich in jede Sammlung! Viel Bonus drauf!
